Costerfield farmer Neil Harris has been taking photographs of dust rising from the mine's crusher area since February.
A roof was fitted to the crusher at the end of August, but it is hardly an acceptable solution as this photo makes plain.
In this picture, a plume of dust and/or fumes can be seen to the right of the white building, highlighted against the trees in the background. The valley is blanketed in a haze of dust.
