Response to the Response to Costerfield Operations...

After sending the report in the previous post we received the following reply from Mr Ian Porter, Chief of Staff to Minister D'Ambrosio.

It would seem that Mr Porter is/was not fully aware that he works for the Minister for Energy, Environment and Climate Change; nor does/did he seem to be aware of the Environmental Protection Authority's role in the approval process for the release of RO water into the Wappentake Creek.

In light of the communication we subsequently received we wonder whether Mr Porter even bothered to have a chat with the Minister herself before sending this dismissive handball of a letter ostensibly on her behalf...

And, of course, the "office of the Hon Wade Noonan MP, Minister for Resources" has not bothered to either acknowledge or respond to the original communication.

Duckshoving of community concerns from department to department...

The more things change...
